GosainKunda or spelled as Gosai Kunda is a hindu sacred lake situated in Langtang National Park at an elevation of 4380m(14370 ft) in Rasuwa district.It is about 120 km far from Kathmandu.We can reach there from two ways, one is from Dhunche and second if from Sundarijal, Kathmandu.It takes about 4 to 7 days short trek to Gosainkunda and back to Kathmandu.We can go by bus up to Dhunche and trek about 12 kms to Gosainkunda, also we can trek directly from Sundarijal, Kathmandu to Gosainkunda in about 2-3 days which is about 33 km.Here the rare pandas hide in dense rhododendron forest,groups of blue sheep graze in the alpine meadows and a wide scenery of Himalayan ranges including Ganesh and Langtang Himal.
