Top Five Things To Do In Nepal In Short Period.

Nepal is rich country in natural as well as  cultural resources.If you are planning to visit Nepal ,here i have listed top ten important things to do in Nepal.Sorry ,i couldn't upload photo for every topic as i am not uploading other source's photo in my blog.Hope you understand and feedbacks are appreciated.

#1. Visit to World Heritage Sites.

If you are planning to visit Nepal for short period, then don't worry there are lots of places to visit which is enough for three to four days.Kathmandu has 7 UNESCO's listed cultural world heritage sites:- Pashupatinath,
Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square,Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square , and Changunarayan.

More interesting is that they are located within 20 km of radius so you can easily visit these places in around 1-2 days.

#2. Hiking Around Kathmandu:-

Kathmandu is a valley so it is surrounded by high hills. Phulchowki(2782m) also known as hill of flowers is the tallest hill of kathmandu valley in Lalitpur where you can reach there by hiking or by high-peak up vehicles in one day.In winter, it is covered by snow while in summer also .Another hill, Chandragiri hills (2551m) is seven km from Thankot and lies on south-west side of kathmandu valley.The hill provides panaroma view of kathmandu valley and the Himalayan ranges from Everest to Annapurna.You can reach there by cablecar or hike from thankot. Next is Sundarijal named after hindu goddess sundarimai is fifteen km north-east from kathmandu valley.This is located inside Shivapuri National Park and is perfect one day hiking trip.But this trail is so long that it can be considered as trekking trail also.However, if you don't have enough time to spend then you can just do hike to Mulkharka village and extend to Chisapani village and return back to kathmandu next day.

#3. Local Sight-Seeing Around Kathmandu Valley:-

If you don't like hiking then it's not a big deal because there are other beautiful places too where you can reach easily by local transport. Nagarkot(2175m) is a village at the rim of kathmandu valley known for it's views of himalaya including Mt.Everest.Here you can enjoy your quality time in resorts or hotels.You can get public bus from Bhaktapur to reach there. Chandragiri is also another best place to visit and is very near from center of kathmandu.The availability of cable car has made more easy for visitor's to visit chandragiri hill.Here you can enjoy with picturesque view of kathmandu valley.The cost of cable car is Rs.700 and you can reach there by public transport from Ratnapark to Thankot. Moreover, if you want to are interested in cultural tradition then Bhaktapur will be 

#4. Pub,Bars And Club's:-

Thamel is the famous tourist destination mainly for night life.It is in center of kathmandu and most busiest market where you can enjoy the varieties of dishes of your choice.Several local bands performing live music will make your time more refreshing.You can see several nepali handicrafts and cultural things at thamel market. Durbarmarg is another busy street of kathmandu city.KFC and Pizza lovers should definitely visit this place.

#5 River Rafting and Bunjee-Jumping :-

If you are adventure lover and don't have enough time to spend more in Nepal then don't be worry , you can experience both river rafting and bunjee-jumping in same place at Bhotekoshi River.Bunjee offers visitors the real adventure of falling from high altitude at real and natural places.Rafting is available at Trishuli river too ,however the rafting of trishuli is more adventurous than bhotekoshi river.
