Introduction To Nepal



Nepal is a smallest and beautiful land-locked country situated at south-asia occupying only 1,47,181 sq.km of area.It is located in Himalayas and contains eight of the world's ten highest peaks.Also Nepal is a peaceful country where Gautam Buddha was born.According to census 2018, the current population is about of 3 crores.Unity In Diversity is the one of the best examples of Nepalese.Though Nepal is comparatively small you can find lots of natural beauties and habitats here.It is a gem of beautiful treasuries.People have good relationship harmony with each other.The more interesting is that Nepal's flag is the only
National flag that isn't rectangular or square.It has dual-pennant shape, colored with red in center and blue in corner consists two symbols moon and sun.

Moreover about 125 languages are currently spoken in Nepal.Nepal is known as mountain/himalaya country , even though it is small it contains 8 of the 10 highest peaks of the world including Mt.Everest and Kanchenjunga-the world's tallest and third tallest respectively.Nepal has Federal democratic republic government since July 2008 .Prior to this, the country was ruled by a monarchy.Altogether there are 7 states and 77 districts . Nepal is a poor country ranking 197th in GDP.Most of the people are under poverty line and estimated unemployment rate in 2008 was about 46%.The currency is Nepalese Rupees(NPR).Nepal is also known as  second richest country of the world in water resources.
